"Nature" une nouvelle vidéo d'Yvalain

Nature an original song by Yvalain. This is my first time "live" video. Better play loud to enjoy that song.
The basic track was recorded in 2003 with supplementary production in 2013. Yvalain plays guitars, sings and programmed some digital devices.

I provide here the lyrics in French and a translation in English. The theme is that Nature is beautiful but also cruel. So mankind long for love better than for nature.

La ronde des puissants...

Il n'y a pas de problème de création de richesse dans notre monde. Il y a juste un problème de répartition. Comment peut-on jouir de sa richesse tandis que d'autres n'ont rien, même pas le nécessaire ? Comment peut-on penser mériter la richesse et penser aussi que les pauvres méritent leur sort ? Pourtant les riches (people en tous genres, grands patrons, stars de la TV, média caniches des puissants, etc...) ne cessent de réclamer plus pour eux-mêmes et des sacrifices pour les travailleurs. Ce système ne pourra pas durer... C'est la ronde des puissants...

There is no problem of wealth creation in our world. There is just a problem of distribution. How can one enjoys his wealth while others have nothing, not even the necessary? How can one thinks he deserves wealth and also thinks that the poor deserve their fate? Yet the rich (people of all kinds, big bosses, TV stars, media true poodles of the mighty ones, etc ...) continue to demand more for themselves and sacrifice for workers. This system will not last ... It's the round of the rich pigs...

Give Me Hope, a new song

Give Me Hope, an original blues by Yvalain

with Gaby Cardoso: electric piano
and Yvalain: vocal, bass, guitars and some more digital arrangements

It's a demo made in 2011, remixed in 2013. My friend Cyril suggested me to remix that song which was issued on my Soul Colors album, in a more intimate way (as it was very shiny there). That gave me the curiosity to try it. I've unburied my vocal demo which was in English. Although I'm conscious that it's not a great vocal I was happy to recover the original intention of the song. I've removed many layers of instruments to reach the raw bass/piano/guitar track. I hope you'll like it despite its unfinished production.
